Our short film is a celebration to the people that inspires us achieve the impossible (Elon Musk, J.K. Rowling, Jorge Gutierrez, Ernest Cline, Guillermo del Toro). As a student you spend a lot of time dreaming in stories, products or tasks that might seem impossible. In this story we show a day’s life of a future maker in the process of materializing the dream of building a spaceship with the help of technology that in the present is still considered at an early stage (AI, VR, AR, 3D Printing, Holograms) but that hopefully in the future of our “maker” this technology will be immersed in everything.

VIDEO EDIT
The camera work was also shot by me!, I was inspired by the great camera and drone work by Robert McIntosh. I shot everything using a DJI Spark and this was the third time I was using the drone so I think I did a great job.
The Spark gimball was not enough to stabilize the footage so we played a little bit with REELSTEADY.
ANIMATIC
I think we broke some rules for this video because we did an animatic only after the footage was shot but what we did first was to draw a very rough map of the building we were using to shoot the video.
